Scotland - Closed for winter

Right, Scotland.  Beautiful country, impressive landscape, lots of castles but... it’s closed!  Yeah, Scotland is absolutely closed during December.  Tourist attractions were closed, all the castles were closed (even tough in our guide book they said it was open) and most of the restaurant and Bed & Breakfast were shut down for the season.  The whisky distillery tour we had was empty!  Yeah yeah, the guide kept saying: “If you would have been here 2 days ago you could have seen a lot more going on, but since the boys are going home for Christmas, well there’s not much to see!”  Brilliant!  Anyway, we still enjoyed are trip for the scenery and for the friends we visited in Glasgow over Christmas and New Year.  Here’s a few of the 846 pictures I took during our holidays.

[house on Islay]

[Laphroaig Distillery]

[A sheep, I think it's Dolly!]

[Killchurn Castle, Argyll]

[Hairy cows, Annie just love them!]

[Not exactly sure where that is]

[On the road]

[Same spot where I don't remember the location]

[Tiny white house, big white mountain]

[Looking at the Wallace Monument from the Stirling Castle]
[The city was in a big cloud when we were up there]

That's it.  See you next time.

PS, Still haven't found a job yet and I'm getting pretty antsy. So if you know someone in London that could hire me for anything (doesn't need to be in architecture) please let me know.
